River Dee

On the River Dee, we have fishings in the heart of the city, at Garthdee, Banchory Devenick, and Pots and Fords in front of our Bothy on Riverside drive.

The River Don is a superb fishery for wild brown trout, with trophy trout being caught each season. You will also find salmon and sea trout throughout our beats.

We have extensive fishings on the River Ythan, including the tidal Machar Pool and inland waters around Methlick & Ardlethen. A superb fishery known for large sea trout and salmon.

We have a short stretch on the Feugh, a tributory of the Dee, where the right water conditions can provide some surprising sport.

This Loch offers year-round fly fishing from the bank, float tube and even from kayaks (for a trial in 2014) for stocked Rainbow and Blue trout.

This stillwater offers year-round fly fishing from platforms & boats for stocked Rainbow and Blue trout. Parkhill is 100% catch & release.
