Millpond, Saturday 17th September, the first ADAA Junior day held for a number of years can only be described as “FANTASTIC” 10 junior member attended and every one of them caught fish.
The weather wasn’t the best, but I don’t think I’ve seen so many kids at an outdoor event that didn’t really care about the weather, they were just focused on catching fish and that’s exactly what they did, and lots of them.
There were some fantastic prizes, all donated by The Ardoe House Hotel & Spa, the BBQ went down well with the Kids, Parents & volunteers.
Every Junior went away with a prize at the end of the day of a fly box & fly kindly donated by Richard McHattie.
The event was in the mostly organised by our Millpond convener Ash McKinnon, who I must tip my hat too as the event went without a hitch. See below photos of the day and the prize giving.Ash & the committee are already planning the next Junior Day.
