ADAA Welcome Meetings 2008
The first of the new ADAA members for 2008 attended a "welcome" meeting on 26 January at the "Bothy" . It was also attended by the President, Honorary President, Stuart Fleming and myself.
The Welcome meeting consists of introductions, a brief history of the ADAA, Constitution, Committee structure, benefits of joining, extent of the waters, rules, the importance of catch returns, fishing etiquette, competitions, handling of fish, identification of Kelts etc, the importance of taking precautions regarding Gyrodactylus Salaris, what's on the ADAA website and the ADAA goodies that can be purchased.
Each member left with a folder of useful information about the issues discussed.
Our new members said it was very worthwhile and enjoyed the presentation learning a lot about the Association. A series of further presentations are to be held over the next few weeks.
