---MAP

This Guide has been compiled and designed to assist new and old members alike around the Club's Salmon Fishings, we trust you will find the information and the maps useful and accurate enough to help find your way to your destination.

Brechin Angling Club currently own, rent or fish free of charge approximately ten miles of Salmon Fishings on the Westwater. Comprising of five individual Single Bank Beats, four on the North Bank and One on the South Bank. As you can appreciate, the geographical nature of river systems and the surrounding countryside will dictate varying degrees of accessibility to or from and on Beats and in turn, will have varying limitations to fishing methods, However, all of the Beats provide some form of sport for the Fly Fisherman and the Spinner/Wormer alike!

In the following descriptions and on the maps you will find "symbols" to help you to determine Beat Limits etc, we have also included a rating scale ranging from poor to excellent to indicate the accessibility to or from and on individual Beats and a similar scale to express a rating to some form of fly fishing, no rating scale is included regarding Spinning/Worming as these methods can be utilised to good effect throughout the entire Salmon Fishings.

Please adhere to the rules of the club and that of the "Countryside Code ,Please use only the designated parking areas and re-member you MUST display your membership ID card within your vehicle during fishing on all Club waters!
