ADAA - 2010 EVENTS
Orvis Day - Sunday 18th April – 10am onwards
Ben Dixon and the Orvis Team will be at the bothy on Riverside Drive, Aberdeen demonstrating the full Orvis range of Trout and Salmon rods, reels and lines. Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on the day.
Vision Day – Sunday 6th June – 10am onwards
Jim Fearn has yet again decided to visit Aberdeen to allow our members to try out the Vision and Rio range of rods, reels and lines. Willie Banks will also be in attendance to help out any of our members who need a little help with their casting. Phil Glendinning, Chris Western and Mike Towns will be in the bothy tying flies, come down and see them and get advice from the masters!
Please feel free to come along and join in. Tea, coffee and bacon rolls available on the day.
Sea Fishing Boat Trips
The ADAA have yet again arranged 3 fishing trips out of Arbroath, aboard the Mairi Dawn with Skipper Jim Swankie. There are 12 spaces on each trip costing £22 per head. The dates and times for these are:-
Sunday 27th June 8am , Sunday 18th July 8am & Sunday 8th August 8am
To book phone Stuart Fleming 01569 730198, your place will not be confirmed until you payment has been received. If you cancel your place and we cannot get someone to fill the space you will lose your £22.00
River Don Hatchery Visit
The Visit to the hatchery this year will take place on Sunday 14th November at 10am, meeting in the car park at the Mill of Newe hatchery. Due to health and safety there are only 20 spaces available on this trip so please book early. Dress warmly, tea and coffee are served half way through the visit.
Tilbouries Syndicate Rod

Casting Lessons
Lessons for Trout or salmon, beginners or improvers with Willie Banks at Tilbouries. ADAA members £35, Non members £40. To book phone Julia or e-mail.
