Don Charitable Trust
The biologist starts next week. The Don Open Day was well supported with over 300 visitors. It was agreed to donate £5000 to the Trust to be used specifically for improvements to the Goval burn. All were urged to donate £20 to become Friends of the Don- see leaflet:

Catch Returns
Statutory Notices of request for catch return information to 31 May 2009 have been received from the Don & Dee District Salmon Fishery Boards, Paul to respond accordingly.
Maintenance Contract 2008
Ardlethen- Platform and steps at the timber bridge is now complete giving access to an extra 200 yards of river bank.
Kemnay- Tree branch trimming has been carried out, thanks to the members that assisted.
Parkhill Trout Fishery
The fishery has been fishing well again since more fish were stocked. Boat booking numbers have picked up. River Dee Newsletter An email dated 26 May has been received from the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board enclosing a pdf copy of the River Dee Newsletter - May 2009. It has been posted on the website.

Stillwater Strategy The representative of the owner of the loch has responded that he sees little purpose in meeting at the present time.
It was agreed not to seek a further agreement with Haddo when the current agreement expires on 23rd June as Parkhill Fishery is now available & Haddo was used by only a small amount of members.
Stoneywood Paper Mill site
Kenny Riddell & Mike Cordiner were congratulated for reaching the finals of both the SANA National & River Finals.
