Upper Stoneywood Beat
THE BEAT (see map)In line with it's stated aims to continue to improve angling opportunities for ADDA members and visitors alike the ADAA Committee are pleased to announce that with immediate effect the Upper Stoneywood beat of the river Don is now available to fish for members and as part of our visitors day tickets initiative here. The beat extends downstream for ¾ a mile on the south bank, from the bottom mark of the Lower Parkhill South beat at the Farburn, ending at the upstream side of Stoneywood Mill Dyke. The beat has a number of very good pools and is likely to be a very good addition to the existing excellent ADAA waters The rules for fishing will be exactly the same as for Upper Parkhill, see here Further information will be added as it becomes available.
